The Fifth Cross-Straits Symposium on Surveying and Mapping Development held in Taiwan
The Fifth Cross-Straits Symposium on Surveying and Mapping Development was held on November 19-25 in Taiwan Jiao Tong University. Over 200 participants of surveying and mapping professionals from the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao took part in and had discussions and exchanges on topics of photogrammetry, remote sensing, GPS and navigation, GIS, and surveying and mapping management.
The symposium started from 1992 which has formed a platform for the exchange among surveying and mapping professionals from the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
The steering committee of the symposium held a meeting during the symposium and decided that the next symposium would be held in Macao in 2009. |
