An atlas of Wenchuan earthquake was published on March 18 in Beijing. It is the first general atlas demonstrating the situations of the quake occurrence and reconstruction of the quake-hit areas. The atlas will provide reference for decision making in disaster prevention. It is conducive to raise the public awareness of disaster prevention and alleviation, and provides basis for the reconstruction of the earthquake areas.
