5 surveyors join the 26th Antarctic expedition
A group of Chinese scientists left on board the vessel Snow Dragon for China's 26th Antarctic exploration on October 11. The group contains 251 scientists and workers, the largest ever since China’s first expedition to the Antarctica. The team will fulfill 59 tasks. Five surveyors are among the team and they will conduct survey at the Great Wall Station, Zhongshan Station, Kunlun Station, and Grove Mountain. |
