Zhang Rongjiu, Deputy Director General of SBSM, met the Vietnam delegation headed by Nguyen Tuan Hung, Director General, Department of Survey and Mapping Vietnam (DSMVN) on November 18 at China Surveying and Mapping Innovation Base. Zhang gave briefings to the guests of the new surveying and mapping base and the development of surveying and mapping in China. He noted that SBSM always gave importance to the friendly relations with DSMVN. The regular exchange between the two organizations contributed to the development of the surveying and mapping of the two countries. Nguyen Tuan Hung praised the remarkable achievements of SBSM and appreciated the assistance provided by SBSM to DSMVN. He also expressed his willingness to deepen the friendly cooperation with SBSM.
